HUB, Human Ecosystems Bologna, the system with which we have been observing the practices of collaboration in the city of Bologna together with the city administration and the Co-Cities at LabGov project, has produced its first Report.
The Report will be presented on Friday March 18th (see below for the details of the event) and will be published on these pages immediately afterwards.
HUB, mixing arts, technologies and research, is an analysis on the public conversations taking place on social networks in Bologna about Collaboration in the city, which explore in new ways the digital public space of the city.
Who speaks about collaboration in the city of Bologna on social networks? How? Where and on which themes? Which emotions do citizens express? Who are the hubs, influencers, bridges between communities and the experts of collaboration?
With HUB – Human Ecosystems Bologna, the City Administration of Bologna has started a new experimentation to support its policies for collaboration: “Collaborare è Bologna“.
In occasion of the presentation of the results of the first 4 months of monitoring, a full Open Data set will be released from the analysis, enabling the process of transformation into a commons of all the public data generated in the city and from the people who live in it, with the objective of facilitating the process of re-appropriation of the digital public sphere of the city making it accessible, observable, inclusive and usable for research and collaborative action.
The Councillor Matteo Lepore and the Director of the Urban Marketing sector Osvaldo Panaro of the City Administration of Bologna, Salvatore Iaconesi and Oriana Persico of Human Ecosystems, authors of the analysis, will be present.
The presentation of the report and the Open Data will be held on Friday March 18th 2016 at TIM #Wcap Accelerator (Bologna, Italy) in Via Oberdan 22, 40126 Bologna, Italy.
The presentation will start at 14:30, and a workshop to learn the details of the research will follow.
